WHAT'S COMING TO RECOVERY THIS YEAR?

Recovery is in its sixth year here at Summit and we couldn’t be more excited about the work that God is doing in and through the lives of the men and women in the ministry. Every day we can see the evidence of God’s activity in His people and it calls to mind a passage in Psalm 103 that says,

Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits, who forgives all your iniquity, who heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit, who crowns you with steadfast love and mercy, who satisfies you with good so that your youth is renewed like the eagles. “
Psalm 103:2-5

God has restored and transformed many lives by the power of the Gospel through His Holy Spirit in Recovery over the last 5 years and in 2017 we plan to continue the mission that God has given us, to make disciples who represent the gospel to everyone in need of help, healing and hope. Some things to look for in the new year:

1.     We will be announcing our teaching topics each month, please use this as a resource to come and learn and to invite friends and family who may be in need of hearing the hope that only Christ offers.

2.     We will have supplemental resources that pair with the monthly themes we will be going through in Recovery. From articles and blogs to books and sermons, there will be more than enough to encourage you in your walk with God.

3.     We will be having testimonies shared monthly from men and women who have experienced new life in Christ and want to share their recovery with others. We look forward to hearing these stories of transformation!

This year we will cover many recovery related topics such as “Identity and Purpose” and “Hope and Brokenness”. God has been so faithful to Recovery at Summit and we look forward to being a continued resource and ministry of hope for anyone in need. If you have any questions, are looking to get involved, or simply want to talk, please don’t hesitate to email us at Recovery@summitlife.com. Let God do the work He is longing to do in your heart and consider beginning your Recovery journey at Summit. Join us Thursday nights from 7:00pm-9:00pm and see what a full life in Christ can look like for you!

Blessings,
Evan and the Recovery Team
